Dr. Christina Gasper is a specialist in Periodontics and Implantology with extensive training in periodontal therapy, cosmetic surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery and dental implant therapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cell, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After graduation, she pursued her interest in research at UCLA and has published articles in Oncogene and in Proceedings of American Association for Cancer Research. Dr. Gasper then proceeded to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from New York University (NYU). Prior to completing her 3-year post doctoral specialty training in Periodontology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), she also finished one year of General Practice Residency working with medically compromised patients. During her surgical training, she also obtained her Master of Oral and Craniofacial Sciences at UCSF.
Dr. Gasper is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration, California Society of Periodontists, American Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, and the California Dental Association.
Dr. Gasper believes in strong communication with general dentists and other specialists in order to provide comprehensive patient care though team approach. She combines the latest treatment ideas with extensive knowledge and experience to ensure quality patient care.
When not at work, Dr. Gasper enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with family.
Dr. Valerie Pozon-de Leon received her degree in dental medicine at the University of the East, College of Dentistry, Manila, Philippines in 1994 and graduated with Honors . She also passed the Philippine Boards as one of the top 20 licensees. She took her post graduate training at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and passed the California boards. In her pursuit for academic excellence and clinical expertise, she has attended various seminars all over the United States .
She is a member of the American Dental Association ( ADA ), American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry ( AACD) , and Academy of Laser Dentistry ( ALD) . She is committed to dental excellence and is passionate about providing her patients with the best possible dental experience she can give them.
Dr . De leon has a daughter and two sons. In her spare time, she enjoys playing the sport of indoor badminton and her hobby is singing. Dr. de Leon used to sing in a band called The New Minstrels.
